Election Day for the 2026 General Election is Tuesday, November 3.
Polls are open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. If you are in line at your assigned polling place by 7:30 PM, you will be allowed to vote.
On Election Day, Jackson County voters must vote at their assigned polling place. Use the NC Voter Search before you go to confirm your polling location and view your voter information and sample ballot when available.
North Carolina voters will be asked to show photo ID when checking in. If you do not have an acceptable photo ID, there are still options for voting, including completing an ID Exception Form when applicable.
