The NC Trusted Elections Tour is coming to Jackson County for a free, nonpartisan town hall about how elections are administered in North Carolina.
The event will feature Dr. Chris Cooper, Professor of Political Science & Public Affairs at Western Carolina University, Amanda Allen, Jackson County Election Director and Jennifer Roberts, former Mayor of Charlotte.
Election officials will be available beginning at 5:30 PM to help attendees register to vote or update their voter registration. The town hall begins at 6:00 PM and will include an opportunity to learn more about the election process, ask questions and take part in a community conversation.
Free and open to the public.
