Right-wing extremists have taken over the NC Court.
In 2022, Republicans flipped our state Supreme Court from a 4-3 Democratic majority to a 5-2 Republican majority. The Republican-led court allowed extreme partisan gerrymandering, causing us to lose three Democratic congressional seats. They also allowed the Republican-led NC legislature to enact strict voter ID laws and limit voting rights. In addition, they have allowed the Republican legislature to take away power from Governor Josh Stein and prevented $677 million from going to rural public schools.
Democratic Judges will uphold the rule of law.
